WFOT: A call for Occupational Therapists with Experience in Cancer Rehabilitation or Sarcopenia
WFOT is collaborating with the World Health Organization (WHO) Rehabilitation Programme on the development of the Package of Rehabilitation Interventions for people with Cancer or Sarcopenia. WHO is about to begin work in Development Groups with people representing all relevant rehabilitation professions from all WHO regions.
Selected OT experts will need to provide their time on a voluntary basis. Work of the Development Groups will be conducted through email and web conferences in English. He/she will also need to allocate approximately six hours for conducting the online surveys, with an additional two hours for participating in each web conference. Several web conferences may be necessary.
Requirements:
1. Occupational therapists with extensive knowledge and experience in cancer rehabilitation or sarcopenia.
2. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Selection criteria:
1. Number of years post qualification
2. Relevant post-qualifying training/education
3. Experience
OT-Malaysia is reaching out to any of the OTs in Malaysia that meets the required requirements
Timeline:
OT-Malaysia will need to receive applications (resume/vitae – maximum 2 pages) by 30th April 2021.
Selected applicants will be guided further to complete an online application form that is to be submitted by 2nd May 2021.
