GUIDELINES FOR RECRUITMENT OF RESEARCH PARTICIPANTS IN MALAYSIAN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSOCIATION WEBSITE

Dear Malaysian Occupational Therapy Association (0T- Malaysia) members,

OT-Malaysia supports research and innovation to instil the scholarship of knowledge within
occupational therapy practice in Malaysia.
We are pleased to provide the opportunities for members to recruit research participants to
involve in their studies.

Application Guidelines:
1. Application is OPEN all year round.
2. Applicant MUST be a registered member of OT-Malaysia. Non-member will be charged
RM60.00 for processing fee.

3. The research project MUST be relevant to occupational therapy.
4. Ethical approval MUST be obtained prior to submission for review.
5. Applications MUST be emailed to research@ot-malaysia.my at least 60 days prior to the
proposed date of recruitment.
6. Incomplete applications WILL NOT be processed.
7. Recruitment opportunities will be posted in the Malaysian Occupational Therapy Association
Facebook Page (one time posting) and in OT-Malaysia website for 60 days.

1. Researchers should take an active role in disseminating of the invitation to ensure
satisfactory response rate to the particular study.
2. OT-Malaysia shall not be held responsible to any misconduct or misinformation related to the
research being advertised.
3. OT-Malaysia has the right to withhold/remove any given information deemed unsuitable
without prior notice.
